I met Russ through a mutual friend joe cook and Russ was always the nicest happiest guy ever. Of course you can already guess where we met ... Yep the river bank fishing for salmon or maybe sturgeon. He'd make sure To inform us his depth and bait he used and bait smell if any was being used , or tell you which lures or corky colors were getting hit so we could fish with em. As long as people were enjoying themselves around him he seemed to be happy. Always had good stories to tell i loved that bout him I didn't even know the man was sick after years of knowing him and fishing next to him til bout 2 years ago. Anyways the world is at a loss of of Russ and I hope there will be someone else to attempt to fill those big hearted wonderful shoes. .
Our deepest condolences to Russell's loved ones. We've known 'Juice" for about 25 years or more. He was absolutely one of the dearest men I've had the pleasure to be acquainted with. He always had a hug with a great laugh and conversation. he's going to be missed by so many people. I'm glad we had the pleasure of being his friend.
the night sky has another shining star and god has another angel, thank you for being always being there for all of us. As a son, brother, father and one of the best uncles, we are blessed to have you watching over us with granpa and and uncle jack. I love you!
You always had a smile and a heartfelt hello to everyone you knew. RIP Russ. My thoughts and prayers are with your family, may their hearts heal quickly.
