Joan and Darold returned to Washougal in 1984, where they spent their retirement years. Joan is survived by her beloved husband of 63 years, Darold, of Washougal, daughter Carolyn of Zillah, sons Dale Darlene of Olympia and Robert Trudy of Chelan, and 3 grandchildren.
