Obituary of Ethel L. Pawsey

ETHEL L. PAWSEY Ethel Pawsey, of Camas, passed away on May 6, 2013 at the age of 85. She was born on September 8, 1927 in Portland, ND to Marsh and Selma Warren. She married Robert C. Pawsey in 1957 and worked for 20 years at the Pendleton Woolen Mill in Washougal. Ethel and Robert divorced and she moved back with her parents. She later worked as a caregiver until 1993 at which point she moved to Crown Villa Senior Apartment Complex in Camas. She was a very active member of the LaCamas Heights Baptist Church; loved flowers and playing the piano. Ethel was grateful to have been raised in a Christian home and her faith was a very special part of her life. She is survived by her sister, Anna Mae Murdock of Washougal. Her life will be celebrated during a memorial service at LaCamas Heights Baptist Church on Saturday, May 11 at 11:00 AM. Burial will be private at the Washougal Memorial Cemetery.
