ANDREW J. ANDERSON Andrew Jackson Anderson died March 26, 2013, with his family by his side. He was born May 13, 1934, to Mon E. and Sara V. Clayton Anderson. He graduated early from Modoc High School in Alturis, Calif., in 1950. He served in the Navy from 1952 to 1956, and attended Clark College and the University of Oregon. Andy owned and operated several body shops through the years, and was always working on a new side project. He was a true aviator and obtained his pilot's license in the 1980s. Flying became his passion. He loved spending time with his family and never missed coffee hour or the chance for a good debate. In his later years, he volunteered daily at the Washougal Senior Center. Andy was a unique individual and will be missed by many. He was preceded in death by his father in 1943; mother in 2002; brother, Harold in 1967; and sister, Joann in 2005. He is survived by his stepdaughter, Debra Richard; son, Stephen Anderson; sister, Patti Johnson; brother, Dennis Meads; and several nieces and nephews. A private service will be held at Willamette National Cemetery. A celebration of life will be held on May 11. For more information, call 852-3621.
