MARGIE MERRYFIELD LANGFORD Margie passed away peacefully on March 9, 2013 in her home surrounded by family & friends, after a long battle with Alzheimer's. She was born the sixth of eleven children in Pocatello, ID. In 1939 she met the love her life, Dale George Marryfield 1991. They were married 52 years and enjoyed a life of dancing, extensive traveling and an evening cocktail. They were blessed with two children, Jane and Lee. After becoming active in the L.D.S. Church, Margie met her second husband, Maurice Evans Langford 2013. They were married in 1996. Margie had an eye for fashion and design which gave her a life long career in department store window displays, which she loved. Her love for design carried over in her love for gardening where she would create outdoor diorama's amongst her flower beds. Margie was dubbed "The Queen of Garage Sales" as there was rarely a yard sale she could drive by. She loved her grandchildren and her grandchildren adored her. Margie will be missed by everyone lucky enough to have known her. She is survived by her son Lee Merryfield of Washougal, daughter, Jane Merryfield of Lyle, WA; 5 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 14, 2013 at 1pm at Straub's Funeral Home in Camas. Burial will be private at the Camas Cemetery.
