Grandpa was always there. Between all of us grandkids, him and Grandma always found a way to make it to our games, tournaments, band concerts, anything. I'd have bowling on Saturday mornings, him and Grandma went to my practices as much as they could. Afterwards, we'd always go out for lunch at either the Igloo, Boppin' Bo's, or somewhere near by to get a bite to eat. He went out of his way to do things for anyone could, especially if it meant he got to work with his hands. One year for Christmas, he built me a belt rack to hang on my wall to display all of my karate belts. It's something I'll cherish forever.

I’ve known Dennis since the age of 16. A great man. Probably the most intelligent person I’ve ever met. He also had a huge heart and did anything and everything for his family and friends that he could. We had many heart to heart conversations together when I was helping him with the restoration of his ’63 Chevy. We got to know each other very well. I feel honored to have the memories of him and all of the great times with family. If more people were like him this world wouldn’t be so messed up. Thank you Dennis for being my friend and father in law. I will miss you forever.
