To a Husband, Father, brother, Grandfather and Great-grandfather

Carl Frederick went home to be with our Lord on Sunday morning, November 19th. Carl was 82 years old.

Born in Appleton, Wisconsin in 1941 to Arthur and Lorraine Frederick, Carl was one of five children.

Carl attended Christian school through 8th grade, then attended high school in Menasha, Wisconsin. He graduated from University of Wisconsin with a degree in chemical engineering.

Carl loved the Lord and had daily devotions with his wife, Judie. They prayed for each child and grandchild, in addition to praying for their church family.

Carl fell in love with the beautiful pacific northwest when he had a job interview with Crown Zellerbach in 1966, he saw Mount Hood and decided to put down roots here.

Carl was preceded in death by his parents and his sisters, Norma and Barbara.

Carl is survived by his wife Judie Frederick, his children Allen (Vanessa) Frederick, Karen Frederick, Faith Cagle, Martha (Nathan) Getz. Carl is also survived by his stepchildren Connie (Jack) Walker, Mike (Stephanie) Erickson, Steve (Lorrie) Erickson. Judie and Carl shared 18 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his two brothers, Bruce and Tom Frederick of Wisconsin as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 28th at 10:00 am at the Camas Church of the Nazarene. Interment to follow at the Fern Prairie Cemetery.
