Albertina Ann Myers was born to Grace (Wolf) and Timothy Welp on June 2, 1930. She attended college at University of Portland and earned a nursing degree, working afterward at St. Vincent's Hospital in Portland, Oregon. In 1958, she married Merle Myers and together they raised 10 children. She was first and foremost a loving wife, mother, and homemaker, as well as being active in her church, gardening club, and knitting club. She is preceded in death by her husband Merle. She is survived by her brother, James Welp and sister, Joanne (Karl) Klein; her children: Mary Havlicek, Daniel Myers, Dennis Myers, David Myers, Theresa Myers, Otto Myers, Leo Myers, Thomas Myers, Kathleen (Trevor) Foltz, and Regina (Steve) Wrublik; 17 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren. Funeral Mass is on May 24 at 11:00 am at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 324 NE Oak St., Camas, WA phone: 360-834-2126. Rosary service will precede the Mass at 10:30 am. Burial is on May 24 at 2:30 pm at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 333 SW Skyline Blvd. Portland, OR phone: 503-292-6621 We love and miss you dear Sister/Mom/Grandma! Rest in peace.
