Obituary of Wilbur Charles Smith

Wilbur C. Smith, born in Nebraska on May 19th, 1928 passed away on May 3rd, 2022, 16 days shy of his 94th. birthday. He moved to Camas/Washougal area in 1956 and has lived locally until his passing. He was preceded in death by his wife Alma Jane Smith in June of 1996. He is survived by his second wife Maude ( Finn ) Palmer, Smith. And his sons Martin C. Smith ( Chuck ) and Robert L. Smith ( Bob ) and Bob’s wife Pat. Also survived by 8 grandkids and 15 great grand kids and numerous great great grandkids and nieces and nephews. Wilbur loved playing music and singing. Contributions can be made to the Cancer Society. A funeral service will be held on on Thursday, May 12, 2022 at 11AM at Straub's Funeral Home in Camas. There will not be a graveside service at the families request.
