Words are simply inadequate to express my sorrow, and I wish that I could provide some sort of comfort to each of you. I have had a moment to reflect over the last couple of days and I wanted to share that I have such happy memories of time spent with Bob (and Greg and Carolyn) and the rest of the family while we were kids. Things like holiday celebrations, family birthdays, going on an ‘adventure’ to the creek near the house, swimming in the pool, seeing the horses, or even walking to the park from Grandma and Grandpa’s house all come to mind. Each time we got to go see our cousins was truly a blessing! Bob had a quiet strength about him. He was caring, kind, intelligent, and yet quick both to smile and to laugh! His positive impact will continue on with everyone who was fortunate enough to have known him.
