Obituary of Patricia Ann Mitchell

Patricia Ann Mitchell April 3, 1956-June 17, 2020 Patti was born in Chicago, Illinois to Carol and Sherwood Hinman. She was surrounded by family & friends, old and new, when she left us. Devoted Mother of David Mitchell, Underwood, WA; (former wife, Elizabeth Doyle Mitchell), Linda Ochiai (Tatsuya), Long Beach, CA, Katherine Mitchell, Beaverton, OR, Elizabeth Mitchell, (fiance, Aaron Donaldson) Sherwood, OR. Amazingly devoted Grandmother of Austin & Presley Mitchell, Kaito & Kento Ochiai and Lincoln Glenn Mitchell. Siblings, Chuck (Camille) Hinman , White Salmon, WA, Karyn (Rick) Sennett, Sherwood, OR, Greg (Michael) Hinman Spokane, WA; 11 nieces and nephews and former spouse of 30 years, Phillip Mitchell, who was still present in her life. Patti graduated from Lakeridge HS in 1974, it was the first class to graduate from the new HS where she was on the Advisory Committee while being built. She went on to attend Oregon College of Education in Monmouth & Portland State University . Patti was a longtime relocation specialist for Pacific Power & Light. She was an accomplished and well respected Real Estate agent and broker for over 30 year. Patti volunteered and donated to 100+ Women Who Care, Transitional Youth and withloveoregon.org . These organizations were very dear to her heart. She was also a long time member of Beaverton Four Square and Aloha Faith Center. Patti's immensely strong faith and values carried her through many lifetime struggles. Her willingness to never give up on anything or anyone, along with continuing many traditions, kept the family strong. Thank you to family, friends and members of the Brookdale Hospice team who helped comfort Patti and our family in her final months. Patti is and will be dearly missed. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Wednesday August 11th from 11:30 am - 2pm at the Beaverton Four Square Church, 13565 SW Walker Rd. Beaverton, OR 97005. A reception will follow.
