Grandpa was a witty man with a good sense of humor. To this day the only joke I can remember is his joke about a dog with no legs. I enjoyed spending time with him playing cards and learning about his life growing up in Canada, making 10 cents a day picking mustard, and making shoe laces out of eel skins. He lived a full life and enjoyed watching hockey and golf until the end, although he could no longer play. He was blessed to have a loving family, especially my mom who was there for him and took care of him until his passing. I will miss him dearly, but cherish the fond memories.
