Obituary of Robert O Manary

Please share a memory of Robert to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Robert O. Manary passed away March 2, 2019, at his home in Vancouver, Washington. He was the oldest son of Robert L. and Anna M. Manary. He grew up in Camas, graduated from Camas High School, served in the US Army, and, until his retirement, worked at the Camas paper mill as a mechanic. During his 73 years, Bob had a knack for fixing or improving anything. He believed you had a duty to maintain the things you owned.

He was exceptionally fastidious about his vehicles and fish tanks. Bob lived a simple life, and in his later life focused on his Catholic faith, particularly important was his daily Rosary. He enjoyed summers, NASCAR, old movies, and working on cars. He is survived by the following people who loved him: daughter Erin Fanning, her husband Joe and her children Olivia and Henry, brother Dennis Manary, and three sisters Peggy Williams, Nancy Craig, and Betty Manary.
