Joel was such a positive and happy influence in my life, we worked together for years at Clear Channel Radio. He loved to laugh, and I truly enjoyed working with him, as well as spending time together over many lunches at Busters BBQ in Tigard.
His kids should know how proud of you he was. He always beamed brightly when he talked about what you were up to, it was clear to me that he loved being your dad.
I miss Joel and think of him often.

When he was young (under 4) he would say salt and shecker papers, his birthday was October third and he owls say knocked over third. Such a sweet boy and wonderful man. From the time he was little until he was a man he smiled all the time. I miss him every day.

Kelly, Tom and I are so sorry that Joel died suddenly. We send this candle memory now as we have been so busy with holiday preparation, family and friends, and much more. Tom has even driven by you house daily just to check on it. All is well. You, your mother, and all Joel's family are in our prayers. May God watch over his soul while he watches over each of you from Heaven.

I offer my deepest sympathies to the family and friends of Mr. Joel Archer Price. I wanted to share with you a wonderful hope for our future, that has brought me comfort many times. That hope is found in Jehovah God's word the Bible it helps us to cope with the present, overcome the past and to give us something to strive for so we can walk with determination toward the future. In Isaiah 65:21-23 it says "They will build houses and live in them, And they will plant vineyards and eat their fruitage. They will not build for someone else to inhabit, Nor will they plant for others to eat. For the days of my people will be like the days of a tree, And the work of their hands my chosen ones will enjoy to the full. They will not toil for nothing, Nor will they bear children for distress..." what a contrast to what we see in the world, can you imagine a time when we will all have everything we need to live? That hope is real. But why live in a perfect world if there is still death? Again the bible answers in Revelation 21:3, 4 it says "Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his people. And God himself will be with them. And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." Everyone who has died will be resurrected to a paradise earth and they won't ever die again, and we will be able to be there with them!

I am so glad I had a chance to reconnect with Joel last summer before I flew back to Singapore. It was so good to see him after so many years. He still had that distinctive chuckle and funny sense of humour despite the passage of time. What is indelible in my mind, is Joel, the chilled teenager who not only put up with my intrusion into his space but entertained me whenever I went down to do my laundry in his basement during our Christmas visits. He made me laugh and feel welcome. I will miss him.

Joel what a sweet and tender soul. Although we have been separated these past few years the memory of you is strong. Being with you during your growing years was a blessing, You riding your trike into the pool, holding onto the handle bars for dear life, was a shock to both of us.
We've all been fortunate to know and love you.
It's so true that words just don't seem adequate to express our sadness.
Although your life was cut short, you've left lasting love and memories of those of us left behind.
Our hearts, minds and prayers go out for Amy, your children, parents, siblings and the rest of our family.
With Much Love,
Aunt Laurie, Uncle Tony, Denny and Janee'

It is an honor to be your sister. I have been so blessed to have two fantastic brothers. Your honor and love for your family was deep, true and inspiring. I hope you know that your impact was strong and everlasting.
You were also so much fun. I of course loved your sarcastic sense of humor. You always made me laugh, and even right now, that brings a smile to my face.
My pain today is crushing, I do not know how we go on without you. Your life was short on years, but rich and strong with passion for all you did and all you loved.
Like everyone seems to say to us, "I just don't know what to say," I feel the same. I don't have the words to express all that you meant to me. To say it simply, you were my friend and my brother, I love you deeply as both.
