Obituary of James Lyle Ratliff

JAMES L. RATLIFF James Ratliff, age 84, passed away on November 17, 2012. He was born on June 16, 1928 in Colome, SD. He lived in Missoula, MT before moving to the Camas/ Washougal area where he spent most of his life. James worked for Columbia River Trucking for 30 years and retired from the Teamsters. He was a craftsman and enjoyed gardening and working in his yard. He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 ½ years Ida J. Ratliff He is survived by his daughter, Melody Michael LaRue of Vancouver; grandchildren Chad Ratliff of Washougal, Aaron Jewell of Vancouver and 4 great grandchildren. At his request there will be no services. Burial was private at the Washougal Memorial Cemetery. Straub's Funeral Home & Columbia River Cremation in Camas was in charge of the arrangements.
