Obituary of Sandra Holland

Sandra Rae Laney Holland, 78, of Vancouver, WA, passed away on 9/11/2018 in Vancouver, WA.

Sandi was born in Lewiston, ID to Francis and Alberta Laney, on 4/8/1940.  She went to high school in Milton FreeWater, OR and graduated in 1958.  She worked several office jobs and then 10 years at Oregon Worsted Co.,  3 years at Lutheran Outdoor Ministries, and 17 years at Parry Center for Children, (Portland, OR) before retiring in 2002.  She enjoyed spending time with her husband and family, gardening, her dog and attending her grandchildren’s sporting events and activities.  She was heavily involved with her church.

Sandi is survived by her Husband-Al Holland, Vancouver, WA; Children-Ron (Kathy) Clark, Beaverton, OR; Randy (Patty) Clark, Vancouver, WA; Raemarie-Bunny Saylor, Vancouver, WA; Gary (Krista) Holland, Vancouver, WA; Melissa (John) Larson, Milwaukie, OR; Sister-Quig (Garry) Speer, Lagrande, OR; Brother- Frank (Darlene) Mauro, Sunriver, OR; Grandchildren-Nathan (Shaadi) Clark; Kelcee (Cody) Wynne;  Nick (Cali) Clark; Mitch (Danielle) Saylor; Zach & AJ Larson; Great Grandchildren, Jacob Clark, Bobak Clark; Nieces Stacy Arritola, Jenifer Mauro, Casey Mauro, and several great nieces & nephews.  She is preceded in death by her parents Francis & Alberta Laney, and nephew Steven Speer.

Celebration of Life will be held at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church, Vancouver, WA on Sunday, September 30, 2018 at 1pm, with Pastor Susan Gerow officiating.
