Wilda Joy Miller, 90, of Camas, WA passed away on Oct. 23, 2012. She was born in Urbana, MO to John and Jetta Rains Edde.
During WWII, she was a welder at the Kansas City Bomber Plant and then married the love of her life, Frank Miller, in 1945. Wilda and Frank moved to the Camas area in 1948 to work at Crown Zellerbach.
She then worked at Pendleton Woolen Mill as a weaver until she retired in 1977.
Wilda was a charter member of Lacamas Heights Baptist Church and active for many years.
She had several hobbies including knitting, quilting and other homemaking arts.
Wilda is survived by her son, John Miller Marina; her daughter, Sherry Redinger; sisters, Betty June Krause Rano, Brooksie Jane Johnson Don; granddaughter, Misti Matta Cris; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Frank; brothers, Wendell, Charlie, John Ross and Wallace; sisters, Cleta Fay Edde and Martha Jo Lindsey; and her granddaughter, Nicole Katzung.
Wilda requested no service but there will be a lunch served at Lacamas Heights Baptist Church on Sat., Nov. 2, 2012 at 11:30 AM in her honor.
