Obituary of Robert Boyle

Robert William Boyle, 85, of Washougal, Wash. peacefully set off on his journey to be with the Lord on February 2nd 2018.  Robert was born in Batesland, S.D. on July 30th 1932, to John M. and Rheba R. Boyle.  They lived in Montana before coming to Camas Wash.

 

Robert attended Camas High School, then served in the United States Marine Corp. where he was stationed in "Camp Pendleton" San Diego, CA.  Upon completion he moved back to Camas WA and was employed by Columbia Rock Products.

 

Robert was introduced to Patricia L. Burkhart of Camas WA. They were married on September 27th 1957.  They relocated to Seattle Wash. where Robert was employed by the "Midas Muffler Shop".                     

 

In 1964, Robert, now with a family of five, came to Washougal WA.  In 1968 he purchased the home where he has lived for the past 50 years.  Robert retired as Leadman, from Waterway Terminals in Portland, Oregon.

 

Robert enjoyed working outdoors, investing several years for the planning & establishing of the landscaping for the family home. His main interest was his "Family".  He gave a lifetime of unconditional love, hope & encouragement, providing a home where you knew you were always welcome. Strong moral values were taught without words. He was always looking for an opportunity to help others.

 

Robert is survived by his son Michael A. (Elisa) Boyle, daughter Mishelle D. Boyle and son Todd M. Boyle, 9 Grand children & 13 Great Grandchildren. several cousins, nieces & nephews.

 

He is preceded in death by his wonderful wife of 59 years Patricia L Boyle,

parents John M. & Rheba Boyle, brothers; John M. Boyle Jr. & William "Bill" Boyle.

 

A private graveside service will be held for family at the Camas Cemetery on February 25th at 1:00pm.
