Obituary of Gerald Everett Morris

Gerald Everett Morris, age 71, died at his home in Camas surrounded by family on Thursday, August 10, 2017.  The cause of death was cancer.

Gerald, better known as Jerry, was born on April 6, 1946 in Salem, OR to Everett and Betty Morris.  He grew up in Camas causing mischief alongside his two brothers Robert and Richard Morris.  After graduating from Camas High School, he worked for Crown Zellerbach and later Georgia Pacific until his retirement in 2005.  Jerry had an appreciation for sports and was an avid runner until the moment his legs would not take him any further.

Survivors include his wife, Claudia Morris, three children Matthew Morris (Carey), Stephanie Morris (Mark), and Lindsey Bouslaugh (Ben), four grandchildren, and a brother, Robert Morris (Jean).

A memorial service will be held at Lacamas Heights Baptist Church, 4727 NE Everett Dr., Camas, Washington, on Saturday, August 26th, at 11 a.m.  Family and friends are welcome.
