Eva and Chuck were devoted parents, grandparents and great-grandparents.ã??Chuck was the vicar at St. Anne's, Washougal from 1969 to 1974. They later relocated to Bellingham, where they lived until they moved back to the Vancouver area to be closer to their children. Eva generously gave her time and attention to others as a teacher and volunteer.ã??She was a leader in her community as an advocate for the rights of women and children, especially the developmentally disabled. Before going to seminary Chuck was a Naval officer during the Korean War. He served as an Episcopal Priest in the Diocese of Olympia and as an interim minister. He also volunteered in organizations that advocated for the rights of children. They will be loved and remembered fondly for the impact they had on so many, particularly their family.
They are survived by their children, John Pam, Margaret Sundseth Mark, James Diane and Michael Hunter-Berstein Gabriel; 7 grandchildren, Sarah and Nathan Hunter, Kelli Dizmang Scott, Nicola Alderson, Travis Sundseth, Ethan and Victor Hunter- Bernstein and one great-grandchild, Charles Dizmang.
