Sue, you will always have a special place in my heart and that of my brothers and sisters for all the time and energy you gave in helping care for our parents at the end of their lives. You were there and gave selflessly when our dad passed away. And then you took our mother on her first airplane trip to visit your family and to see where you and Dave lived. We will never forget your generosity with caring for them.
P.S. It was a butterfly that landed on my hand to let me know that you were now at peace with no more pain.

Sue, when we came out to visit you and Dave in 2008 we did not know how the week would go but you took it upon yourself to be the best tour guide and hostess. A week we will never forget. Thanks for the wonderful compassion and kindness you showed our parents in their time of need. I heard a song today that reminded me of you. Its called angels among us. Our family is truly blessed to have an angel and her name is Sue! We love you and will miss you!

Yes, Sue did love Disneyland, which is a tradition in our Family also. I remember many times sitting & eating icecream and waiting for the Parade, which might not be for another 3 hours or maybe done for the day. Yes, other people would sit down & wait for that darn Parade. Our family will keep those memories for ever. We will always think of Sue, when waiting for that next Parade.
You will be truly missed.
Lots of Love, Duane, Coreena & Brittany

Aunt Sue,
thank you for being such a wonderful aunt. You always had such a caring way about you and would do anything for anyone of us. You left us with so many memories, the beach, Wallowa lake, family gatherings and the Round-Up. One that I will never forget is when you filled your living room with hay for a Halloween party. We talked about that for years. We will think about you everyday and miss you forever. We have comfort knowing that you're now with Jesus.
We love & miss you so much

My thoughts and Prayers are with the Goss family. Sue was a wonderful person. Although I did not see much of the Goss family in the past several years, I will always have fond memories of her and the Goss family from our years of the Pinebrook days. So Dave, Kevin, David, and Dwayne just know she is in a better place. Kevin and David I hope we can hook up soon. Dean Gaasland and family

To the whole family, I would like to express my prayers for strength, comfort and peace at a time when it seems even those things can't fill the place left in your heart that is broken. Sue was a very cool lady who I was glad to know. She always was fun to talk to and had so much love for you all.I know that she is with my mom now laughing over stories of Disneyland and bragging about her beautiful family!Sue you will be missed! Much love to you all!

“You can shed tears that she is gone, or you can smile because she has lived.
You can close your eyes and pray that she'll come back, or you can open your eyes and see all she's left.
Your heart can be empty because you can't see her, or you can be full of the love you shared.
You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday, or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday.
You can remember her only that she is gone, or you can cherish her memory and let it live on.
You can cry and close your mind,
be empty and turn your back.
Or you can do what she'd want:
smile, open your eyes, love and go on.”
Quote from David Harkins
Sue, I know you will be dearly missed by your friends and family that you leave beind. But, I find comfort knowing that you are with Marsha, Patty, Papa & Popo.

Dear Dave,
It's hard to believe that Sue is gone from us in this life. We will miss her so much. She was a kind hearted and giving person. I wish I could be there tomorrow with you. We don't have to say goodbye to Sue, just goodnight, for we will meet her in the morning just outside the eastern gate. We will keep you in our prayers. Love, Becky

Dave and Sue,
We are so thankful that the Lord allowed our lives' paths to cross. We were encouraged by your unfailing love for one another. We were inspired by Sue's courageous battle against cancer. We were uplifted by the grace, peace and inner joy you both exhibited as you walked through this unknown and difficult journey.
Sue, "at the ultimate healing", you are now Home free. A portion of the song, "All the Way My Savior Leads Me" by Chris Tomlin and Matt Redman states:
"And when my spirit clothed immortal
Wings its flight to realms of day
This my song through endless ages
Jesus led me all the way
All the way my Savior leads me"
Our Lord has loved you, dear Sue, with an everlasting love.

You will be missed, we love you, there won't be a day that goe's by that I don't think of you. You are at peace now. So glad I got to spend some time with you a couple days ago,if I could relive that, just even for a while,I'd say good-bye and kiss you and maybe see you smile, but I realize, that could never be, for emptiness and memories, would take the place for me.
We love you, rest in peace.

There are few times in my life when I am at a loss for words and this is one of them. How do you sum up 23 years of memories, laughter, tears, and friendship? You were not only my mother-in-law but my friend also. I will miss you and your big heart; but you are in a much better place where cancer can no longer steal your spirit or smile. God Bless You Sue.
