WALLY NUGENT
Wally Nugent passed away on May 28th at his home in Camas, WA at the age of 82. Wally was born at home in Clark County on July 25, 1928. Wally graduated from Battle Ground High School while logging with his father. He worked a variety of jobs, spending the majority of his time at the Camas Paper Mill, where he was a paper technician for 38 years. Wally enjoyed spending his time flying planes, riding motorcycles, scuba diving, snowmobiling, and various other outdoor activities. He was very involved in the lives of his children, serving as Scoutmaster of Troop 308 for 12 years.
He is survived by his wife Beth, children Leslie, Becky, and Jamie, and 8 grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, June 12th from 1-3 PM at the Fern Prairie Grange in Camas. Donations in his name can be made to National Parkinson Foundation or Hospice Southwest. Burial was private at the Chelatchie Cemetery. Straub's Funeral Home & Columbia River Cremation in Camas was in charge of the arrangements.
