JACK JOHANNESEN
Jack Richard Johannesen was granted his angel wings when he lost his battle with Duchenne's Muscular Dystrophy on August 10, 2012.
Jack was born in Portland Oregon on June 11 1994. He resided in Gresham Oregon and attended the majority of school in the Centennial School District. He was currently residing with his family in Washougal Washington and finished his 12th grade year at Washougal High School.
Despite his struggle with Duchenne's Jack always had a positive attitude and an enormous sense of humor that kept his family and friends laughing along with him. When people met Jack they immediately fell in love with his spirit.
He is survived by his loving Daddy, Todd Johannesen, his brother Skyler Johannesen, his active mother Stephanie Gehrke, his Great-grandmother Mary Nicholson Grandma Nik, Grandparents Gary & Evelyn Johannesen, Step-brothers Cayden Gehrke, Cayleb Gehrke, David Hartley, and his step-sister Caylee Gehrke, his loving aunts, uncles, cousins and the very special care givers that were so much a part of his life.
His life will be celebrated with a private ceremony at a later date. Straub's Funeral Home & Columbia River Cremation in Camas was in charge of the arrangements. To send condolences or to sign the online guest book please visit www.straubsfuneralhome.com.
