Obituary of Eathel William Boys

Eath William Boys, husband, father, grandfather and friend died in Vancouver, Washington on Monday August 6, 2012 at the age of 95. Mr. Boys was born in 1917 in Harlowtown, Montana as one of eight brothers and sisters. The family moved to La Center Washington where he graduated from High School in 1936 and met and married Beula Holmes in 1939 deceased 1986. Together they had four sons John, David, Bill and Mark, and three daughters Anne, Emily, Margaret. He moved to Camas-Washougal in 1950 where Eath and Beula were the owners of the Cooper Truck Lines for over 30 years. In 1989 he married Betty Pallamounter. He was an avid member of the VFW and the Knights of Columbus at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. He enjoyed the monthly poker game with friends, and sponsored a bowling team at Camas Bowl. A typical northwesterner he spent free time fishing and hunting and enjoying the outdoors with his children and grandchildren. Eath Boys is survived by his son Mark Boys Washougal, his daughers Sister Grace Anne Boys Los Angeles, Emily Stevenson Ellensburg and Margaret Wolf Issaquah; and Betty Pallamounter's sons Ed and Forest and daughers Pagean and Pamela as well as over 30 grand and great grandchildren. The family thanks Alex and Denise Mischian at Flowers Place, Vancouver, Washington for their loving and compassionate care, you will always be part of the family.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, August 14th at 10:AM at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 324 NE Oak Street, Camas Washington. Burial will follow at the Camas Cemetery. To send condolences or to sign the on-line guestbook, please visit www.straubsfuneralhome.com.
