CHARLES M. MANN
Charles M. Mann, of Camas, passed away on January 13, 2011 in Vancouver at the age of 85. He was born on December 19, 1925 in Bremerton, WA. He moved to Dee, OR just outside of Hood River where he lived until his father passed away. He then moved to Washougal and after his schooling he drove truck before joining the Navy and serving during WWII. He returned to Washougal and married Leah Bethea on September 3, 1948. Charles worked at the Pendleton Woolen Mill and later spent many years working at Crown Zellerbach paper mill. He would later retire from Fiberweb in Washougal. Charles loved animals, especially his miniature donkeys.
He is survived by his wife, Leah of Camas.
At his request there will be no services. Burial was private at the Fern Prairie Cemetery. Straub's Funeral Home & Columbia River Cremation in Camas was in charge of the arrangements. To send condolences or to sign the online guestbook please visit www.straubsfuneralhome.com.
