Even though I did not know Barbara personally, going through her check stand at Safeway was always a pleasure. What I distinct-fully remember was her voice. It was so unique and delightful to hear. She was very kind and sweet.
Am so saddened to have read her obituary.
I remember the last time I saw Barbara at Safeway, not too awfully long ago, while leaving the store.
She will be missed. Sincerely, Bonnie

Barbara and I were friends while we attended Gause Middle School in Washougal. She always had a smile on her face and had a kind heart. We lost contact during High School and I am sorry to hear now of her passing. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family and friends. I am so sorry for your loss. She will be greatly missed.

Remembering my dear younger cousin Barbara:
I was saddened to hear that you were gone, but glad to know that you are at peace. Your sweet, lovely nature always shone through, even as you struggled for years with devastating illness. You were a great role model for all of your family. I am grateful to have known you, and I will remember you with love. My heart goes out to your sisters and all those closest to you, as they will certainly miss you.

In memory of my baby sister, Barb. Thanks for all of the wonderful memories over the years. I will always remember our long walks with the dogs and spending hours talking...and I will never forget the times you made me laugh so hard because you screamed when you saw a snake or had a squirrel jump out in front of you! You were so funny! Thanks also for being the best "critter-sitter" ever...Jett, Junior, Chad and Sassy will miss you so much also!
You fought a long and courageous battle here on earth and deserve to enjoy the best of times in heaven now with no more pain or sadness.I love you and miss you!

Barb I just want to thank you for being a big part of our life. I seriously wish we would have had many more years together but God had other plans for you. I do miss our talks on the phone and our emails. I miss the times we spent working together at the nursing home then the talks we had after work about the days. I have picked out the brightest star in the sky and I look up at it on clear nights and talk to you. I know yu hear what I am saying to you. I know you blessed many people in your life time and you helped so many people when they had troubles helping themself. I love and miss you so much Again you are now cancer and pain free and you are doing the new job God has set for you do to. I love you always

Barb: I always did my best to make you laugh and you did laugh alot. I don't think I ever thanked you for laughing at so many of my bad corney jokes. But thank you. Because you did, I remember your smiles more than anything. I'll remember the good times.. the cook outs and the walks with the puppies. I'll remember your love for all God's creatures great and small except snakes of course.
I'll remember your courage, your will power and in heaven's time, we will all be with you again, very soon. Peace and love.

Barb, we always lived too far away to spend as much time with you and your sisters as we would like, but we have only the fondest of memories of our times together, especially the visits with my brother Brian and the family picnics so generously sponsored by the Busby clan. We will miss you.
