WALLACE JAMES ROBERTS
Wallace Roberts, age 89, passed away on November 13, 2010 in Camas, WA. He was born December 9, 1920 in New Orleans, LA.
In 1942 Wallace married his wife of 44 years, Adeline. He became a civilian flight instructor during WWII for the Army Air Corps. After the war he started working in the plumbing supply industry. He would later start his own business as a manufacturer's sales representative in the plumbing industry in Louisiana and Mississippi. He retired and moved to California in 1996 and then to Camas earlier this year to be close to family. Wallace was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was gifted at carving duck decoys and they were prized by collectors.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Adeline in 1986.
Survivors include his son, Aytch of Camas; brothers, Nash, Jr., Cliff and Sidney all of New Orleans; 3 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
