Obituary of Pakhar Singh

Pakhar Singh, age 91, passed away October 25, 2010 at his grandson's home in Washougal. He was born on March 9th, 1919 in Nakodar, India and came to America in 1984. He was married to Sampuran Kaur, who passed away in 2000. Pakhar served in the British Army for over 30 years. Pakhar enjoyed taking walks, telling stories, and taking care of his family.
Pakhar is survived by his two sons, Jaswant and Davinder Hayer from San Jose, CA; 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandson.
A private service was held on Saturday, October 30, 2010 at Straub's Funeral Home in Camas.
