Sorry this is late but I just found out. Ron was so much fun and a great friend. Always there to help and keep the morale high. I'll miss him.

I was really saddened to read the news. Even through I haven't seen Ron in years, we used to hang out together - Bruce, Dave, Ron and I, in Modesto and tear up the countryside. The best memory is Ron jumping his Vega on Warnerville Road and the muffler falling off - there were a lot of times like that - just good fun - I wish the best for his family...rest in peace Ron.

Ron was a great friend and coworker. I knew him for 6 years and relish all our time together. I am sad for the loss of a good friend but even sadder for his wife and daughter whom he spoke of often when ever we had coffee break together which was something we always made time for no matter what kind of work load we had planned out for that day. His love for his wife and daughter were primary in his life as he spoke of them often. I will forever think of Ron how I knew him: tough exterior, smart hard working and a gentle kind heart and soul. All of us that had the honor of working and knowing him will miss him terribly.

Ron was a fun guy to be with. He was always very knowledgable with great advice and a wonderful mentor as well. I had the pleasure to work with Ron from 2004-2009 while at ASM. He will truly be missed. My condolences go out to his family.

I cannot express the profound sorrow I felt when I learned of the passing of a brother Marine. Ron, we served together in Okinawa between 1993 and 1995. I will never forget your dedication and will always value your freindship. You will be missed and your family will be in our prayers always.

I am so sorry for your loss. I cried when I read the notification from Marines.TogetherWeServed.com. I served with Ronald when he was a SSgt. at MWCS-18 in Okinawa 1991 - 1992. He is one of the few Marines that I met who still pops into my head from time to time. EVERY time I do, I ALWAYS think of how nice he was. I am honored to have met him. It just might have been the fact that the reason we got along so good was that we were "neighbors". Ron from Wisconsin and I from Minnesota. Ooorah, Devil Dog!

I was deeply saddened to hear of Ron's passing, I will miss him. I had the pleasure of working with Ron from 2000 to 2005. Working with Ron made the job enjoyable no matter how bad the job was, he was a great guy and you could depend on him as a co-worker and a friend. It was obvious that Ron loved Vallejo and Qurynn very much, my condolences go out to Ron's family.

Ron was my sponsor when I was transferred to Ft Lewis in 1999. He and Vallejo were very kind and accomodating to me when I arrived. I was also stationed with Ron in 29 Palms, Ca and remember him as a great person. The world was a better place with him in it. My deepest condolences to his family...

My deepest sympathies to Vallejo and Qurynn during this tragic time. The hole that is left in our lives by Ron's untimely passing is vast, but God would not have taken him without cause no matter how unfair it seems to us. I'm honored to have have known Ron and to have called him my friend. I wish him fair winds and following seas on his final journey. He'll be there to greet us with a smile when we too are called. Semper Fi, my friend...
