Obituary of John Olan Hess, Sr.

John Jack O. Hess Sr. January 13, 1923- December 30, 2009 John Jack O. Hess Sr. passed away peacefully on Dec. 30, 2009 at the age of 86. He is survived by his wife Jean, daughter Deborah and sons John and Doug. John had 4 grand children and 2 great grand children. He is also survived by his brothers Maurice, Ralph, John and Bill who reside in Penn. and sister Mary Helen from Ohio. John was a World War II Army veteran who fought in the Battle of the Bulge. John was born in Penn. In 1923 and was retired from American Car and Foundry. He and his family then moved to Virginia where they owned and operated a Campground on the Chesapeake Bay. In 1980 they moved to Seattle Washington where he worked 10 years for Boeing as an electrician until he retired in 1989. There will be no public service and family members will conduct a private service in 2010 when John's ashes will be interned in the Tahoma National Veterans Cemetery in Tacoma, Washington.
