Stopped by her home yesterday, March 14, 2010, and found that Helen was gone. So sorry. She had called me in October and we had a good conversation, speaking of memories together at El Dorado High School and our family. She always remembered the first time she saw our children when they were about three and four yrs old and we first met at her cabin in Tahoe. Helen was a special lady and good friend to our family. She will be missed.
Miss Johnson was my teacher at El Dorado High School 1961-1964...She was not only my favorite teacher, but my best teacher because she truly cared about all of her students...I've often wondered where she moved to after retirement...I'm glad to know that she had a wonderful retirement in Washington...My sincere sympathy to her family and friends.
My love and sympathy to Helen's family and friends. I was her student at ElDorado County High School from 1951 to 1955. She was loved by everyone due to her kindness and caring ways. She will always be remembered as a very special lady and teacher.
