Denise Delgado passed away Tuesday, November 3rd at her home in Washougal, Washington from natural causes. Denise was born In Fort Bragg, California on October 5th, 1954 and raised in Chico, California. Denise was a homemaker and liked to garden and cook for her family. She also loved animals and cared for all the strays that came into her yard. When she was 5 she was crowned Little Miss Chico. She graduated from Chico High School in 1972 and married her husband Jay in 1973 in Reno, Nevada. Denise is survived in loving memory by her husband Jay, two daughters, Jennifer Delgado and Renee Delgado. Survivors also include a grandson Donnovyn Delgado and a sister Jacquie Kelly from Carson City, Nevada. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Denise was preceded in death by her sister Jil Lindsey and her mother Loraine Hauso both from Chico, California. There will be a memorial for all those who love and miss Denise at a later date in Chico, California. Straub's Funeral Home & Columbia River Cremation in Camas is in charge of the arrangements.
