Neve and family. We're very sorry to hear of your recent loss. Alfred was a wonderful man to be around. Every Sunday after church he would give me hug; I only wish I could be as humble a man as Alfred was. I still remember the day he allowed me to work in his shop, then he shared his craftsmanship with me; along with you fixing lunch for us. I can still hear him telling me; "don't waste that water". What a great man! He'll be missed here on this earth but what a bright light he has added in the house of our Lord. Please know that you are in our prayers.

I enjoyed getting to know Alfred through my friendship with Charlene. Alfred was a fantastic craftsman, a great story teller, and I'll never forget seeing his amazing collection of toys from his youth. I will miss this kind gentleman -- God bless you Alfred, and all your loved ones.
Oh what warm memories I have. Al and his family played such a big part of my childhood. Al opened his heart and his home to my family in many ways. His cabin holds many a memory too. He was a generous and kind man who loved my parents unconditionally. God has blessed us having him part of our lives .
My parents loved taking my own family through the years to his homestead as time allowed. His handy work what amazing. I have a music piano he made that is precious to me.
I truly appreciate how he always talked to dad on the phone so faithfully. He cared through out the years and the miles.
He was an great man and knew how to be a true friend.
We are very sorry for your loss. I wish I could be there to share in his memories.
I recall all the memories growing up next to your home seeing your Dad go by, driving and walking and riding a bike, always with a cheerful greeting. I know you will miss him dearly.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Wright family during this time of tremendous loss. Alfred was a gem, a fabulous storyteller, and a tremendous historian. He will be missed.
Dear Family of Albert Wright,
We always enjoyed visiting with him at the Museum and seeing his lovely woodworking.
He know the Sampson Family in Washougal. I know he will be missed by all who knew him.
I knew Al for over 35 years. I was the secretary at Local 1715 and always enjoyed his visits and later when not able to get around so well the phone calls and of course the union picnics and parties he came to. He was a truly great guy and will be missed.
Al was a master carpenter and did wonderful work. I enjoyed his stories when we met at the functions. My prayers to his family. He will be missed by his friends and brothers and sisters in the United Brotherhood of Carpenters, Local 1715

Al - What a great guy! He and my dad were friends for almost 70 years. I remember hunting deer with them both on the farm. And of course there were many family camping trips together.
My condolences.
