WILLIAM ANDREW "WILLY" STINEBACK
William "Willy" Stineback, a Washougal resident, died Saturday April 25th in Vancouver. He was 93. Willy was born December 29, 1915 in Deer Park, Washington to Elizabeth Reidt and Albert Stineback. Willy was raised in the Camas area and served in the Army during WWII. After his discharge he came back and logged with his brother in the Washougal area. They logged their own property and after falling the trees they would plant hay or run cattle. He farmed until 1980 when he retired. However, he maintained cattle and helped out with the work until he physically couldn't do it. He loved to travel and explored Canada and most of the United States. He was very frugal and always did the books for his farm.
Willy never married but is survived by his nephews Gerald and Danny Stineback both of Washougal and niece Frances McCuistion also of Washougal and 8 great nieces and nephews and 13 great great nieces and nephews.
