We are terribly sorry to hear of Jim\'s passing, I have known Jim for about 17 years, primairly through little league baseball with his son, Dan. He was a great person and man of great conviction, in whatever he was doing. I am honered to have known him, and he will be missed, but always with a story and a laugh.

We are very sorry to hear of James passing. We purchased the house on G street in 2001 and can remember to this day the great detail and expertise that Jim gave to us on how to open the pool. Every summer when I open the pool, I always think back and remember all of his tips. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

Jim was like a second father to me. In my youth I lived in the "country", or out of town. Most of my time "in town" was spent at Jim\'s home. He treated me like one of his own. He had a great laugh, and I loved being in his company. I\'m sure there were times he had to be stern with me since young kids can always find trouble, but I don\'t seem to remember him ever being angry with me. I only remember his smile and laugh, and of course the great stories he told. I will miss Jim...as will everyone. What a great guy.

What a great human being, I have so many memories of Jim and all good ones. He was a great inspiration to many youths in this area. He will be greatly missed even if he did have some comments on my umpiring and refereeing, thanks Jim for the Memories.
