Obituary of Phyllis B. Johnson

PHYLLIS B. JOHNSON Phyllis B. Johnson, of Washougal, passed away March 5, 2009 in Vancouver at the age of 89. She was born June 28, 1919 in Petersburg, ND the youngest of seven children of Lena and Martin Ekrom. She moved to Minneapolis in 1942 and attended business school. She became a secretary in various large companies in Minneapolis. After retirement she spent winters in Sarasota, Florida. After her husband, Richard Johnson, died she moved to Washougal to be near her niece, Jean Saltness. She was very active in the Washougal Senior Center which she loved. She is survived by 2 nieces and many grand nieces and nephews including Jim, Saltness of Stevenson. A memorial service will be held later this spring.
