I\'ve known Tim since middle school in Okemos, MI . He was known to us, "The Boys", as Timmy C. Timmy C had a tramendous sense of humor and was gifted academically as well. As adults we The Boys would meet in Vages, and Timmy C would generally win. I will always remember how generous he was with his winnings. "It\'s like free money Cheech" he would always say, and he would treat everyone to dinner. I will always remember Timmy C as that guy. Tonnie, and Roger, stay strong and stay in touch. Lisa and I are here for both of you. No Retreat. No Surrender. Cheech.

Tonnie and Family;
Tim and I first met about a dozen years ago next to a roaring campfire in Idaho, with a beer in our hands as we engaged in a stimulating conversation about bull trout. That\'s the way I\'ll choose to always remember him. Tim was passionate, if anything, about things in the fish world and he cared deeply about doing the right things. Over the years we shared our common thoughts during many frustrating meetings. One thing was for certain, with Tim what you saw was what you got - - - no BS. I regret deeply that those of us who were Tim\'s friends weren\'t more aware of his recent struggles and able to help him more. Trust me - his name will always be respected in the fisheries profession. God Bless Tim and you all.

Tonnie - My heart mourns with yours. There are no words to help you go through the grieving process. I can only say from deep in my heart that the pain does lessen with time. Take some comfort in knowing that you and Tim shared a love that will always stay with you. Don\'t hesitate to reach out to your family, friends, coworkers, and others who care if you need to talk, to cry, or just to spend time with. We all care about you and want to help you. Tim was lucky to have you in his life. I hope your happy memories will overshadow the sad ones.

My deep sadness is only mitigated by my memories of the fabulous high school hiking trip in the Rockies with Tim, Roger Omoto, and Kirsten. Tim was such a fun person, with a big heart and generous spirit. I have not seen him in years, but will feel the gap of his absence in the world. I miss him and send my sympathy to Kirsten and Joan the rest of the family.

I worked with Tim in the same office for 18 years. Tim\'s enthusiam and drive were instrumental in moving forward the fisheries science and management in the Columbia River basin. For example, his early work in the Wind River Washington brought people together to achieve watershed management, which still carries on today. My deepest sympathy to Tim\'s family and friends.
