Obituary of Jean Audry Phimister

JEAN AUDRY PHIMISTER Jean Phimister, of Camas, passed away December 7, 2008 at the age of 83. She was born July 28, 1925 in Sapin, MN. She moved to Camas in 1954 and during WWII she worked as a welder on the Liberty Ships at the Kaiser Shipyards in Vancouver. She was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church and the Catholic Daughters. Jean painting, crocheting and watching youth baseball. She is survived by her sons, John of Portland, Mark of Camas, Phil of Vancouver, Thomas of Tumwater; daughters, Jennifer Hoskins of Puyallup, Peggy Hoskins of Sumner; sister, Peggy Griva of California and numerous grand and great grandchildren. A funeral mass will be Thursday, December 11 at 11am at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Camas. Burial will follow at the Camas Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Straubâ??s Funeral Home & Columbia River Cremation in Camas.
