Obituary of Patrick Michael Carey

PATRICK MICHAEL CAREY Patrick Carey passed away at his home in Camas on November 13, 2008 at the age of 28. He was born on December 20, 1979 in Vancouver, WA to Daniel and Shirley Carey. Patrick was raised in Camas and graduated from Camas High School in 1998. While in school he worked part time at Riverside Bowl. He went on to receive three Associate Degrees in computer engineering from Heald College and worked at Wafer-Tech in Camas for 8 years. Patrick enjoyed hunting and fishing. He would spend his spare time either hunting on the family property above the Klickitat River or fishing on their property on the Wind River. Ham radio operating was also a hobby of Patrickâ??s. He is survived by his parents, Daniel & Shirley Carey of Camas; brother and sister-in-law, Timothy and Lisa Carey of Beaverton, OR and grandmother, Doris Carey of Vancouver. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, November 18, 2008 at 2pm at Zion Lutheran Church in Camas. Inurnment will be private at the Camas Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Straubâ??s Funeral Home & Columbia River Cremation in Camas. Memorial donations can be given in Patrickâ??s name to a charity of donorâ??s choice.
