MARVIN KEITH RUSSELL Marvin Russell, of Camas, passed away October 3, 2008 in Vancouver at the age of 79. He was born June 7, 1929 in Mount Carmel, IL to Cecil and Louisa Schraeder Russell. He moved to Texas as a young child and after high school he enlisted in the Air Force. He made the Air Force his career and retired after 21 years. He married Lee on June 7, 1956 in Camas. They lived in many different places around the world but spent their retirement years in Camas. Marvin was a former member of the Camas Church of the Nazarene and for the past few years he has been a member of the Washougal Church of the Nazarene where his son in a minister. He liked to remodel his house and loved camping and going to the beach. He is survived by his wife, Lee Russell of Camas; son, Marvin Russell Jr. of Camas; daughter, Jamie Becker of Vancouver; brother Carlton Russell of South Carolina and 1 grandchild. A memorial service will Thursday, October 9 at 3pm at the Washougal Church of the Nazarene. Inurnment will be private at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland, OR. Arrangements are under the direction of Straubâ??s Funeral Home & Columbia River Cremation in Camas. Memorial donations can be given the Washougal Church of the Nazarene.
