Obituary of James Charles Davis

James Jim C. Davis died September 13, 2008 at home in Washougal, WA. He passed with his daughter Becky and wife Billie at his side. Jim was born on July 31, 1948 in Vancouver, WA. He lived his entire life in Washougal except for his four years spent in the Navy during the Viet Nam War 1967-1971. He was married on October 17, 1969 to his wife Billie for 39 years. The love of his life Becky was born on July 8, 1980. His whole life centered around his family. He had many hobbies â?? fishing, hunting, golfing, photography and his most beloved woodworking. Surviving Jim are his wife Billie, daughter Becky, brother Grover Davis, Sisters; Sandy Havrelly, Rose Sadewasser, Charlene Smiley & Cleta Gilman along with six nephews and seven nieces. The Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 24th at the Washougal United Methodist Church. Straubâ??s Funeral Home & Columbia River Cremation in Camas is in charge of the arrangements.
