JANET JEANNETTE INGRAM
Janet Jeannette Lillian Ingram died in Camas on Friday September 12th. She was 90. Mrs. Ingram was born in Upson, Wisconsin to Jenny Marie Peterson and Albert E. Upton. She grew up in Wisconsin and met and married Paul Ingram in 1935. They eventually moved to Olympia, Washington where they lived for many years. She was an active lady working at various jobs and attending many social activities. She spent 38 winters in Quartzsite, Arizona and belonged to the Baptist Church there. She hosted the North Quartzsite Picnic every year for 29 years where 200-300 people attended. She won ribbons for her handwork at the Puyallup State Fair and also worked at the scone booth there for several years. The family is grateful to the Seattle Hospice and the Kaiser Hospice for their loving care.
Janet is survived by her daughters and sons-in law Donna and Clifton Coulter of Camas and Patricia and Gerald Arnold of Seattle; sisters Goldie Evans of Olympia and June Trochim of Kelso as well as 6 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren.
Private family gatherings will be held to honor Mrs. Ingramâ??s life as she requested no formal services. Cremation was under the direction of Straubâ??s Funeral Home & Columbia River Cremation, Camas, Washington.
