Obituary of Zada R. Felton

ZADA GENEVA FELTON Zada G. Felton, of Camas, passed away September 4, 2008 in Vancouver at the age of 96. She was born June 16, 1912 in Philomath, OR and grew up in Iowa. She graduated from high school in 1930 in Clear Lake, Iowa and married George Felton in 1932. She lived in the Portland are from 1947 until 2005 and she worked custodial, cafeteria and matron positions for the Portland public schools. She moved to Camas in 2005. She was preceded in death by her husband, George in 1981. Survivors include her son, Harris Felton of Portland, OR; daughters, Alma Howe of Camas, Zada Lamb of Tigard, OR; 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. At her request there will be no services. Straubâ??s Funeral Home & Columbia River Cremation in Camas is in charge of the arrangements. Memorials can be given to the Ray Hickey Hospice House @ 2112 E. Mill Plain Blvd., Vancouver, WA 98661.
