Obituary of Donna Marie Brecht

DONNA MARIE BRECHT Donna Marie Brecht, a Camas resident, died at her home Friday July 25th. She was 79. Donna was born May 25, 1929 in Tacoma, WA to Clara Reiber and Andrew J. Holmes but was reared most of her life by her stepfather Robert E. Magill. She grew up in the Tacoma area and graduated from Lincoln High School there in 1948. She moved to Edmonds and met and married Clifford Brecht in October of 1966. They moved to the Camas area in 1970 and Donna worked for several years at the Post Record. She then owned an Auto Licensing Agency until her retirement. Her main interests were her family and her home. Donna is survived by her husband Clifford, at home in Camas; sons Rex Smyth of Wasilla, Alaska and Robert Winner of Santa Barbara, CA; daughter Kim Curtis of Marysville, WA; stepson Dan Brecht of Brier, WA, stepdaughter Dianna Hicks of Keiser, OR, sister Bonnie Carson of Tacoma, WA and brother Larry Magill of Eatonville, WA as well as 20 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Donna was preceded in death by her parents and stepfather and a sister Marlene Magill. Donna had requested that there be no formal funeral services. She will be laid to rest in the Camas Cemetery.
