William Lee Osborne DC, died June 27, 2008, after more than a 4 year battle with Alzheimerâ??s, lovingly cared for by his son. He was born in Dierks Ark. July 14, 1925. He attended high school in Chandler, AZ and served in World War II in the Naval Construction Battalion Sea Bees He was involved in the rebuilding of facilities on Okinawa. Upon his discharge, he finished high school and graduated from Cleveland Chiropractic College in Los Angeles, California; building a successful practice in Newhall, CA, San Jacinto, CA and later Vancouver, WA on Gher Rd in the Orchards area 1980's. Bill was married to Iola Audrey Rowett for 32 years and then Kathy Kettner for ten years. The second marriage ending approximately 1989. He leaves behind a son and daughter from the first marriage - Susan L. Trew in Thousand Oaks, CA & Michael J. Osborne in Vancouver, WA. Also three grandchildren from Susan - Matthew, Earl & Robin. Bill was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers. The last remaining of 4 siblings, his sister Lovelle Byrd, resides in Lubbock, TX with her husband and daughter. Arrangements were under the direction of Straubâ??s Funeral Home & Columbia River Cremation in Camas. Burial was private at the City of Mesa Cemetery in Mesa, AZ.
