Obituary of Rita Mae Lund

RITA MAE LUND Rita Mae Lund, a Washougal resident, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on July 25, 2008. Rita was born September 12, 1924 in Dallas, OR to George and Rita Betts. She was raised in Camas and graduated from Camas High School. She worked and retired from Crown Zellerbach Paper Co. in Camas. She enjoyed her job at the mill where she made many lifelong friends. Her greatest joy was her family, especially her grandchildren. â??She created many wonderful memories for all of us to cherish.â?? She loved to crochet, knit and bake for her family and friends. Rita is survived by her children Teri Caine Charlie, Dennis Lund and David Lund Debbie, seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Memorial donations may be made to the Washougal Fire Department, Camas Fire Department or Ray Hickey Hospice House. Services are private with inurnment at the Camas Cemetery.
