FRANKLIN DELANO HARDEE Franklin Delano Hardee passed away on May 31, 2008 of congestive heart failure, complicated by Parkinsonâ??s disease. He was born in 1933 in Worland, WY to Ruby and Homer Hardee. He grew up in Sheridan, WY and graduated from Sheridan High School where he was Senior Class President and was active in basketball and football. He spent two years in the Army Paratroopers and was subsequently stationed in Japan. He lived in Anchorage, Alaska for 33 years and worked for Wien Airlines and the State of Alaska in Airport Lands and Leasing. He married his wife, Anne in Anchorage and the raised their children there. After he retired, he and his wife moved to Clark County and settled in Washougal in 1992. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Homer â??Budâ?? Hardee. He is survived by his wife, Anne in Washougal; son, Lorne Hardee of Wasilla, AK; daughter, Lenore Pullman of Vancouver, WA; brother Merle Hardee of Gillette, WY; sisters, LaVonne Nelson of Sheridan, WY and Glenda Conley of Sterling, CO and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at Straubâ??s Funeral Home in Camas on Friday, June 6 at 1:00 PM. Memorial donations can be given to the Northwest Parkinsonâ??s Foundation @ 1206 123rd Ave. SE, Bellevue, WA 98005.
