ANNE E. BERGGREN Anne E. Berggren, of Vancouver, passed away May 18, 2008 at the age of 80. She was born September 24, 1927 in Brooklyn, NY to Eric and Katherine Johnson. She was raised in Brooklyn and while attending church she first met Otto Berggren. When Otto returned from his service in the military he married Anne in that same Brooklyn church in 1952. They started their family and Ottoâ??s job forced the family to move many times. His job took the family to Illinois, New York, Canada, Maine, Belgium, Tennessee, Back to New York and finally to Washington State 24 years ago. Anne was a devoted homemaker and was also a Girl Scout and Cub Scout Leader. She also liked painting and doing needlework. She is survived by her husband, Otto, at home; children, Jon Berggren of West Palm Beach, FL, Katherine Lasher of North Greenbush, NY, Ellen Sarvay of Divide, CO and grandchild, Megan Berggren of West Palm Beach, FL. A Celebration of Anneâ??s life will be held Friday, May 23 at 1pm at Straubâ??s Funeral Home in Camas. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be given to the Ray Hickey Hospice House at 2112 E.
