Obituary of Patricia Mae Wing

PATRICIA LEA WING Patricia Wing, age 73, passed away May 14 in Monroe, WA. She was born February 9, 1935 in Iola, KS. Patricia was a strawberry blonde fire-cracker of a woman. After graduating from West Linn High School, in Oregon, she attended George Fox College. It is there that she met and married David Wing. Pat left school after becoming pregnant with her first son. She then began her life-long career of caring for her children and grandchildren. Her marriage took her to California and several years later she moved to Washougal, Washington to be near family. Through out her life Pat enjoyed yard sales and was known for the great deals she could find. She was selfless in helping to support Paul and will be remembered for her kind spirit, loving nature and selfless acts. She is survived by sons, David Wing of Longview, WA, Steve Wing of Stevenson, WA, Paul Wing of Vancouver, WA; grandchildren, Shanon Brown of Richland, WA, Trina Hoyt of Vancouver, WA, Josh Wing of Camas, Robin Wing of California whom she helped raise; great grandchildren, Tristan, Elijah, Katie Mae Hoyt and Samuel Conner; sister, Nadine Robson of Camas, WA, brother, David Abbe of Portland, OR and Howard Abbe of Dundee, OR. A graveside service was held Monday, May 19 at 2:00 PM at the Camas Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Straubâ??s Funeral Home & Columbia River Cremation in Camas.
