Obituary of Joyce Darlene Ritter-Armstrong

Joyce D. Armstrong-Ritter Nov. 20, 1951 - Apr. 21, 2008 Joyce Darlene Ritter-Armstrong of Camas died on April 21, 2008 after a strong battle against cancer. She was born to Clarice and Elvin Ritter on November 20, 1951 in Sherwood, ND. Joyce was a devoted and loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and she loved the Lord. Joyce attended the local Camas schools. She worked as a hairdresser and salon manager in the local area. She had a special place in her heart for all her friends and family. Joyce also had a deep affection for all the many pets she had though the years. Survivors include her husband, Gary Armstrong of Camas, daughter Jamie of Portland, OR, and son Jared of Camas. Joyce is also survived by one brother, Bernard and wife Clarice of Camas, two sisters, Carol Peters and husband Paul of Moses Lake, WA and Karen Kooky Helland and husband Dennis of Washougal, and her many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother Clarence Sonny Ritter in 1976. A vigil service will be Thursday, April 24th at 6:00 pm at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Camas. The funeral mass will be on Friday, April 25th at 10:00 am at St. Thomas. Vault interment will be at the Camas Cemetery. Arrangements are in care of Straubâ??s Funeral Home in Camas.
